How do I connect a Resend domain?
Open Sable, tap Add domain, and paste a Resend API key. Sable pulls the list of domains that key can access and lets you pick which ones to add to your inbox. Any inbound mail Resend receives for those domains will start appearing in Sable.
Which type of Resend API key do I need?
You need a Full Access key. Resend’s Sending Access and Domain Access keys don’t include the permissions Sable needs to read inbound messages and manage domain settings on your behalf. The key is stored encrypted on the server; it never enters the mobile app.
You can create a Full Access key from Resend’s dashboard under API Keys. Sable only ever uses it against your own domains.
Can I use more than one Resend account?
Yes. Add another domain from a different key and Sable will unify them into the same inbox, with each domain color-tinted so you can tell at a glance where a message came from.
Accounts and data
Why does Sable store my email at all?
Resend keeps received email for 30 days. Anything Sable wants to show you after that has to be persisted before the cliff, otherwise your inbox would silently empty out. We store the minimum needed to run a real mail client — and we tell you exactly what that is on the privacy page.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account. This hard-deletes your database rows and the bucket blobs they reference. Deduplicated blobs (e.g. a newsletter logo shared across many messages) are removed as soon as their last referrer is gone.
Prefer to do it by email? Write to privacy@getsable.app from the address on file and we’ll process the deletion within 30 days.
Can I export my mail?
Yes. Settings → Privacy & data → Export produces a portable archive of every stored message and attachment, so you can leave without losing anything.
Are the AI summaries always on?
No — summaries are opt-in and can be turned off per domain. When on, message bodies are sent (truncated, over TLS) to an LLM provider with a no-training, zero-retention agreement. See the privacy page for the details.

Something broke
Mail isn't syncing
First, check that the Resend API key you connected is still a Full Access key. If you regenerated it in Resend, Sable needs the new one — go to Settings → Domains and re-authenticate.
Still stuck? Email support@getsable.app and include the domain and the last time you saw a new message.
Notifications aren't arriving
Confirm the iOS permission (Settings → Notifications → Sable) is on, then check your notification profile inside the app — each domain routes to a profile, and profiles can be muted individually.
